Conchita Foods Signs 60,000-sf Lease at Flagler Station Business Park

Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Conchita Foods has signed a 60,000-square-foot lease for its new South Florida headquarters at Flagler Station Business Park.

Conchita Foods signed a 10-year lease at Flagler Station Business Park, located at 10505 N.W. 112th Avenue in Medley. The new lease represents an expansion from the 38,000 square feet Conchita Foods currently occupies in Medley. The food distributor will relocate its warehouse, office and distribution operations in early 2012.

Cushman & Wakefield Executive Director Brian Smith represented Conchita Foods in its site search and in lease negotiations with the building's owner, Flagler Development. Stuart Gordon of Flagler Development represented the owner in-house.

"Conchita saw an opportunity to modernize their facility and expand their warehouse operation while market conditions still favor the tenants," said Mr. Smith.

Conchita Foods is a family-run company offering beans, rice, nectars, seasonings and authentic Spanish and Hispanic specialties. Originally founded in Cuba nearly 75 years ago, its South Florida headquarters has been in Medley for 30 years.
