Cushman & Wakefield announced today that 157 Columbus Ave, located on the northeast corner of 67th Street, will undergo a major capital improvement and renovation program and be repositioned to the market as a multi-tenanted office building for the first time since it was built. Renovations are expected to be completed by the summer.
A Cushman & Wakefield team, led by Josh Kuriloff, Jodi Roberts and Drew Braver represent The Brodsky Organization, ownership of 157 Columbus Ave, as exclusive leasing agent.
The Upper West Side office building, which has been net-leased by the Walt Disney Co. Inc. since 1983, will undergo a renovation program by award winning architect, Davis Brody Bond LLP, which will feature a new lobby, elevator cabs, bathrooms, and upgraded building infrastructure.
“157 Columbus Avenue will now be offered to the market as a multi-tenanted building in an Upper West Side neighborhood that has limited availabilities,” said Josh Kuriloff, a Cushman & Wakefield Vice Chairman. “We’re looking forward to repositioning this premier office building to the market and anticipate great interest from tenants seeking high-quality space in a convenient West Side location.”
157 Columbus Ave is located within close proximity to the Time Warner Center, great hotels and restaurants, and major public transportation. The building currently has approximately 70,000 square feet of available space, with views of Lincoln Center. The space has windows on all sides and features an efficient center core floor plate, which can be divided.
