Frost Bank, a Texas-based banking, investments and insurance firm, has contracted to lease 57,558-square feet of office and retail bank space in the 168,000-sf building to be constructed by Harwood International in the Uptown submarket north of downtown Dallas. The 22-story structure, located at 2950 North Harwood, will serve as a Regional Headquarters for Frost Bank, consolidating several North Dallas offices and approximately 175 Frost employees.
Bob Edge, Vice Chairman, and Mike Gosslee, Senior Director, of Cushman & Wakefield of Texas, Inc. represented Frost Bank in developer selection and lease negotiations. Previously announced as a lead tenant for the Harwood International development, lease details were completed and contracts signed this week.
“During our exhaustive search of the area it became clear this was the ideal location for Frost, which already owned a majority of the land and has an established presence with a drive-thru facility currently on the property,” said Mr. Gosslee.
“Uptown continues to be a vibrant submarket,” said Mr. Edge. “This is an exciting opportunity for Frost to consolidate into a new building with prominent signage in this market.”
Frost will occupy four upper floors and the 4,914-square foot ground floor bank lobby in the new office building located on the southwest corner of Harwood and Wolf, along with a 2-lane drive-thru banking structure. Jihane Boury of Harwood International is the leasing agent for the remainder of the building. Construction completion and move-in is expected in November 2014.
