Cushman & Wakefield announced today that its Atlanta-based Capital Markets Group has represented Allegiance Realty Corporation in the sale of The Park at Windward Concourse, a class A office park consisting of two buildings totaling 202,022 square feet. The property is well-located along the Windward Parkway corridor in Atlanta’s premiere suburban submarket – Georgia 400.
The seller was represented by the Cushman & Wakefield Investment Sales team comprised of Executive Director David Meline, Executive Director Stewart Calhoun, Director Samir Idris and Senior Associate Casey Masters.
The buyer was Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers, a real estate investment firm based in Hartford, Connecticut, and an indirect subsidiary of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (“MassMutual”). The purchase price was undisclosed. The sale closed on May 29, 2013.
Cushman & Wakefield also was awarded the leasing and property management assignment at the properties.
The Park at Windward Concourse consists of two, four-story class A office buildings situated on a beautifully landscaped 13.3-acre site along McGinnis Ferry Road between the Georgia 400/Windward and McFarland parkways interchanges. Its location within the submarket provides convenient access to many of Atlanta’s most prominent residential communities. At the time of sale, the Property was approximately 79% leased to 26 tenants.
