Rick Farren, a well-respected Washington commercial real estate industry veteran, has come to C&W as a Senior Director. In his position at C&W, he will represent both landlords and tenants and will be based in the Bethesda office.

He has experience overseeing the marketing of build-to-suit and land sale opportunities, as well as sales and leasing for tenants and landlords. Rick most recently was at Avison Young/McShea & Company, Inc. as a Senior Vice President. During the last two years his leasing and sales transactions have totaled 1 million square feet, comprising more than $100 million.
Prior to joining McShea, Rick served as a Vice President/Commercial Sales and Leasing with Manekin, LLC, leasing space on behalf of the developer whose build-to-suit clients included Bechtel Power, General Physics Labs, Smiths Aerospace and Large Scale Proteomics. Rick's institutional clients include AMB-REIT, AEW Capital Management, Principal Mutual Life Insurance and Corporate Office Properties Trust.
He also worked as a Vice President/Commercial Sales and Leasing at Barnes, Morris, Pardoe & Foster, Inc., based in Washington DC. Rick has been active in the Washington/Baltimore metropolitan area's commercial real estate market since 1989.
