Cushman & Wakefield announced today that its Capital Markets Group represented Colony Realty Partners in the sale of 730 Midtown, an 84 percent-leased and fully renovated office building located on Peachtree Street in Atlanta's Midtown submarket.
The Cushman & Wakefield team in Atlanta that marketed the Class B+ property included Executive Director David Meline, Executive Director Stewart Calhoun, Director Samir Idris and Director Casey Masters.
Harbert Management Corporation in conjunction with The Simpson Organization purchased the building. The purchase price was undisclosed.
730 Midtown is an 11-story, 212,000-square-foot office building located on Peachtree Street in Midtown Atlanta. With limited Class B office inventory in Midtown and a significant spread between Class A and B rents, 730 Midtown is well-positioned to grow rents in the near future and capture a large base of tenants seeking high-quality Class B space in the submarket.
The building, which was 84 percent leased at the time of the sale, is experiencing strong leasing activity. Offering unique spaces with innovative design, 730 Midtown is currently home to growing tenants such as RR Donnelly & Sons, Kabbage, Outbrain, and Center for Transportation and the Environment.
