Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Little West 12th Street Realty, L.P. has appointed the real estate firm as retail agent for the chic and trendy 32 Gansevoort Street in the heart of the Meatpacking District of Manhattan.
The turn-key retail space at 32 Gansevoort consists of 1,915 SF on the ground and 1,485 SF on the lower level. It boasts exposed brick detailing and an illuminating skylight atrium.
Alisa Amsterdam, and the Cushman & Wakefield team of Gene Spiegelman, Michael O’Neill and Jason Greenstone, will serve as retail agent for the building.
“The retail at 32 Gansevoort offers an incredible opportunity for a notable fashion brand to join the block which already includes an impressive tenant roster of Theory, Rebecca Taylor and Reinstein Ross, soon to open,” said Amsterdam, Associate Director, Retail Services. “It is extremely difficult to find a space of this caliber in the neighborhood— we anticipate a quick lease up.”
“With over 4.4 million visitors to the highline yearly and The Whitney Museum poised to open next spring, we’re apt to see steady increases in already strong foot traffic along Gansevoort Street” says Gene Spiegelman, Vice Chairman, Retail Services. “The neighborhood continues to grow and expand its appeal, and with Google at 15th Street & 8th Avenue, we have seen the dynamic expansion of a 24/7/365 community.
32 Gansevoort was most recently occupied by the Spanish footwear brand Pikolinos.
