Cushman & Wakefield's Jason Greenstone Named REBNY's Most Promising Commercial Salesperson Of The Year

Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Jason Greenstone, an associate in the firm’s retail group, has been named the Real Estate Board of New York’s (REBNY) Most Promising Commercial Salesperson of the Year at Tuesday’s Members’ Luncheon. He is the seventeenth award winner to be inducted into REBNY’s coveted “Circle of Winners” group since the creation of the award in 1996.

In just over a year and a half at C&W, Mr. Greenstone has been involved in 31 lease transactions in Manhattan and several major markets throughout the country.

“Jason is well respected among his colleagues and highly regarded by his clients, going above and beyond to best meet their business needs. We’re extremely proud of his accomplishments and see a bright future ahead of him,” said Ron Lo Russo, President, New York Tri-state Region.

As the winner of the Most Promising Commercial Salesperson of the Year Award, Mr. Greenstone receives a one-year seat on the REBNY Board of Governors. In addition, he will become a lifetime member of REBNY’s Circle of Winners group, which meets four times a year for a private dinner with top industry leaders. The Award was created by the directors of the Board’s Commercial Brokerage Division to recognize current and potential professional achievement, as well as high moral character and ethical professional behavior.

Mr. Greenstone joined C&W in 2012. He has been involved in many notable transactions in 2013 for both tenants and landlords. Some notable transactions include, Mighty Quinn’s BBQ in a new lease for 2,760 square feet at 75 Greenwich Street, Treehaus for 14,292 square feet at 470 West 42nd Street – MiMA and Fika for 2,263 square feet at 114 West 41st Street. In addition, with his team, Mr. Greenstone has helped to secure high profile leasing assignments for 470 West 42nd Street, 75 Rockefeller Plaza, 2085 Broadway and 920 Broadway.

Mr. Greenstone is also very committed to giving back to the community. He is the Vice President of The Pink Agenda, an affiliate of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. He also actively supports the Friends of Israeli Defense Forces and the Young Audiences New York, a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and is an active participant in the Young Men’s/Women’s Real Estate Association.

Mr. Greenstone serves as a mentor for Cushman & Wakefield’s Professional Real Estate Program (PREP) and sits on the New York Executive Board of C&W future leaders group.
