C&W Negotiates Last Availability at 2200 Pennsylvania Avenue NW – Now 100% Leased

WASHINGTON, D.C. – April 2, 2014 – Cushman & Wakefield announced today that it represented Boston Properties in a tenant lease expansion at 2200 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, located on Washington Circle in the western section of D.C.’s CBD submarket. The 10-story trophy office building was completed in 2011 and is now 100% leased.

Vanda Pharmaceuticals expanded its square footage in the building by 8,860 square feet. 2200 Pennsylvania features a soaring three-story, glass-enclosed lobby, 50,000 square feet floor plates, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a beautifully landscaped interior courtyard, five levels of below-grade parking and a large rooftop terrace.

“Vanda’s Expansion was the last availability within the building,” said Susan Thomas. “Now the building has reached 100% occupancy with a marquee tenant roster.”

Major tenants in the building include Hunton & Williams LLP, Vinson & Elkins LLP and Danaher Corporation. 2200 Pennsylvania comprises part of a 732,000-square-foot mixed-use development, including The Avenue, a luxury apartment building, and 50,000 square feet of high-end retail, including Devon and Blakely, District Commons, Burger Tap and Shake, Whole Foods, Circa, Sweetgreen, and Roti Mediterranean.
