Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Princeton International Properties has appointed the firm as exclusive leasing agent for Tower 52 at 150 East 52nd Street, a Midtown Manhattan office building located between Lexington and Third Avenues.
“We’re excited to work with Harry and Sean at Cushman & Wakefield whom we feel have a strong understanding of the Plaza District Office market,” said David A. Tawfik of Princeton Properties. “We look forward to collaborating with them to market our contemporary office spaces, with high-end finishes for users seeking turnkey spaces,”
Built in 1984, Tower 52 at 150 East 52nd Street is currently undergoing a multimillion-dollar lobby renovation, which will increase the size of the lobby. A full glass cube will be installed on the main entrance, extending the entranceway out toward the 52nd Street elevation by approximately 10 feet. The renovation will feature a stunning massive stone lobby desk and a sculptural wood wall that will greet tenants and guests as they enter the building. Four types of stone, imported from Europe, are being used. Two different types will be used on the floor, one on the main part of the walls, and a riveted stone will be used behind three cascading waterfalls on the east wall. Construction is anticipated to be completed in late July 2014.
A Cushman & Wakefield team of Harry F. Blair and Sean N. Kearns will serve as exclusive leasing agent.
“Tower 52 at 150 East 52nd Street is bringing to market some of the areas highest quality pre-built product perfect for boutique tenants,” said Blair. “The building is situated in a great Midtown location in the Plaza District and near Grand Central Terminal, one of Manhattan’s main transportation hubs.”
