Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Vince LLC, a global retail company that offers women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, denim, footwear and select accessories, has signed a long-term lease at 500 Fifth Avenue, located at the corner of 42nd Street and across from Bryant Park. The transaction brings the building to 96% occupancy.
Vince, founded in Los Angeles, Calif. in 2002, will occupy 33,000 square feet of office space on the entire 19th and 20th floors in the 59-story building.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Harry F. Blair and Sean N. Kearns, exclusive leasing agents on the building, represented the landlord, 500 Fifth Avenue Inc. in the transaction. Nicola Heryet and Stephen Bellwood of Cassidy Turley represented Vince LLC.
“Vince adds yet another prestigious tenant to 500 Fifth Avenue,” said Blair. “We were able to relocate existing tenants to assemble two full floors overlooking Bryant Park – a rare opportunity. The timing came together perfectly and we’re excited to welcome Vince to the tenant roster.”
Built in 1931, 500 Fifth Avenue is a landmark, 680,000 square foot, class-A, Art Deco skyscraper situated blocks from Grand Central Terminal.
