Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Teavana Café, the Tea Concept owned by Starbucks, has signed a long-term lease at 1073-1077 Third Avenue on the Upper East Side. The opening is expected this summer.
Teavana Cafe, an upscale Tea Café and retail store, will open its second New York City location on the Upper East Side in the 1,954 square foot transaction. The store will benefit from the future subway entrance with access to the F train and Second Avenue Subway located on 63rd Street and Third Avenue with almost 50 feet of frontage. The new Teavana café concept will offer more than its traditional tea pots and accessories and will feature a wide variety of tea blends.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Jason Greenstone and Alisa Amsterdam represented the landlord in the transaction.
“This is an exciting deal for ownership and the Third Avenue corridor north of Bloomingdales,” said Greenstone. “Teavana Café will serve as a great tenant for the building and will be an added amenity to the neighborhood.”
SCG Retail’s David Firestein and Taryn Brandes represented Teavana.
