Cushman & Wakefield announced today that its Atlanta office has hired Telly Fathaly as Director in the firm’s Equity, Debt & Structured Finance practice. Fathaly, who brings extensive commercial real estate financing expertise, will oversee the firm’s multifamily lending practice as well as arrange preferred equity, mezzanine debt, financing and joint-venture equity for all types of commercial real estate assets in markets across the Southeast U.S.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Fathaly was Principal at FT Realty Capital in Atlanta for nearly four years, providing private equity advisory and capital formation services to owners, operators and developers of commercial real estate.
“Telly brings an excellent track record of providing creative debt and equity finance solutions as well as joint-venture capital formation services to a broad range of clients. He’ll play a crucial role at C&W as we grow our multifamily financing platform in the Southeast,” said Mike Ryan, Senior Managing Director in Cushman & Wakefield’s Equity, Debt & Structured Finance practice in Atlanta.
His prior experience also includes serving as Vice President at Sterling Real Estate Capital, where he provided commercial real estate investment banking and private equity advisory services, and as Director of Acquisitions at International Capital Partners and Acquisitions Manager at Montecito Investments.
Fathaly is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and the Urban Land Institute. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Virginia.
