C&W Arranges Sale Of Houston Shopping Center

Cushman & Wakefield’s Capital Markets Texas Retail Advisors group arranged the sale of Cypress Station Square, a 140,924 square foot retail center located on the northwest corner of highway 1960 and I-45 at 70 FM 1960 Road West in Houston, Texas. Cushman & Wakefield Executive Director, Tom Salanty, Associate Director, Chris Harden and Associate, Kris Von Hohn arranged the sale on behalf of their client, Weingarten Realty.

“Cypress Station Square received a strong response from investors due to the booming Houston economy and its location at one of Houston’s busiest intersections,” said Von Hohn. “In addition, the property benefited from its location in the North Houston growth corridor and proximity to Exxon-Mobil’s new North American headquarters.”

Cypress Station Square is anchored by Anthem College, David’s Bridal, Davita Dialysis, and Hooters Restaurant. At the time of the sale, the center was 84% occupied with 22,000 square feet of available space.
