Cushman & Wakefield’s Capital Markets Texas Retail Advisors group today announced that it arranged the sale of Angelina Village, a 248,199 square-foot regional power center, on behalf of its client, Weingarten Realty. The Regional Power Center is located in Lufkin at 2949-3061 South John Redditt Drive, and is anchored by a Big K-mart, Conn’s, Harbor Freight Tools and Ashley Furniture. Cushman & Wakefield Executive Director, Tom Salanty, Associate Director, Chris Harden and Associate, Kris Von Hohn arranged the sale.
“Angelina Village generated strong interest from investors due to its ‘main and main’ location in the regional retail hub of East Texas. Solid value-add opportunities, like Angelina Village, continue to be favored in Texas”, said Salanty. “The property was in overall good condition with excellent visibility and access from interstate 69 and loop 287.”
The property encompasses more than 42 acres of land with two available pad sites totaling 30,000 square-feet.
