Sean Black Joins Cushman & Wakefield

Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Sean Black, a former Managing Director at JLL, has joined Cushman & Wakefield as an Executive Director. Mr. Black is located in the firm’s world headquarters office in Midtown Manhattan.

Mr. Black has over 15 years of experience in office leasing, representing a mix of tenants in the media, technology and publishing sectors.

Some of Mr. Black’s notable transactions include representing WEWORK in a total of 400,000 square feet (sf) in multiple locations in New York City and D.C., NYC Office Suites at 1350 Avenue of the Americas for 74,000 sf, Coworkers in a total of 90,000 sf in three New York City locations, Foursquare at 568 Broadway for 56,000 sf, Business Insider at 150 Fifth Avenue for 40,000 sf, and most recently, Skip Hop’s 18,000 square foot expansion and lease restructuring at 50 West 23rd Street.

Mr. Black attended the University of Toronto, Ontario and the University of Western Ontario, where he received his bachelor’s degree in psychology. Additionally, he is a competitive athlete who has participated in numerous world tournaments including the Olympic Games World Championships and Pan American Games, where he won a bronze medal in boxing.
