Cushman & Wakefield announced today the promotion of Lee Dunfee, CEM, CDSM, LEED AP, and Michael Turzanski, PMP, LEED AP O+M, as leaders of the firm’s Engineering Services teams in the East and West Regions, respectively.
Mr. Dunfee and Mr. Turzanski will lead a national team of 1,426 building engineers that serve a 177 million-square-foot portfolio in the West Region and a 363 million-square-foot portfolio in the East Region. Each will serve as Senior Vice President, Engineering Operations, and advise Cushman & Wakefield’s engineering team on best-practices regarding business development; operations and maintenance of office, industrial, retail and data center properties; training; vendor management; recruitment of top talent; and energy management and sustainability.

Mr. Turzanski is based in Denver and has more than 30 years of practical and technical experience with the operation and maintenance of high-rise office buildings, retail facilities, data centers and steam plants. He is a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), the Project Managing Institute and Building Operators Association of Colorado. Additionally, he has earned the Project Management Professional Designation (PMP) from Colorado State University and the USGBC’s LEED AP +OM professional designation.
Mr. Dunfee brings more than 20 years of experience to his new role and is based in Columbia, MD. Prior to his promotion, he led engineering operations for Cushman & Wakefield legacy firms (DTZ and Cassidy Turley) in the Eastern U.S., working closely with market leaders, property managers and chief engineers to deliver best-in-class operations on owners and tenants behalf. He is a member of BOMA, the Apartment and Office Building Association (AOBA) and Association of Energy Engineers, and is a LEED AP, Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Certified Demand Side Manager (CDSM).
