Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Detours of Arizona, LLC has purchased an industrial building at 722 S. Perry Lane for $889,000.
Cushman & Wakefield Directors Jackie Orcutt and John Grady represented the seller, Frank and Leila Hanna Living Trust. Ken McQueen of Lee & Associates, Arizona, represented the buyer.
Built in 1987, the property contains 11,150 square feet of industrial space. Detours of Arizona, a leader in professional guided tours of the West, purchased the property and will fully occupy the building. The company was started in the 1980s by a team of guides who wanted to create outstanding experiences for guests in the region, including custom vehicles, expert guides and flexibility. The company specializes in day trips of the Grand Canyon, Sedona, the Apache Trail, Tombstone and Phoenix/Scottsdale.
“The market for freestanding building sales in Tempe has significantly tightened in recent months,” said Orcutt. “It was a pleasure to see this deal to completion, not only as an indicator of the strength of locally owned businesses, but also as the precursor to retirement for our awesome clients.”
