Timothy J. Michel, CPA, Promoted to Cushman & Wakefield East Region Asset Services Lead

CHICAGO – Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Timothy J. Michel, CPA, has been promoted to lead the firm’s East Region Asset Services service line.

Mr. Michel is charged with accelerating the growth of Cushman & Wakefield’s East Region portfolio and will focus on growing the portfolio, currently consisting of more than 300 million square feet.

Additionally, he will partner with key local and business line leaders including capital markets, agency leasing, project management and tenant representation to build and expand client relationships and customer market share. He also will work with his counterparts in the Tri-State and West regions to ensure consistent client service delivery and implementation of best practices across geographies. Mr. Michel is based in Indianapolis and reports to Marla Maloney, President, Asset Services, Americas, and Shawn Mobley, President, East Region.

“With his combination of operational and business development expertise, Tim is the ideal leader for our Asset Services team in the East Region,” said Ms. Maloney. “He has keen insight into how to deliver an exceptional client experience for a broad range of investors and property types, and he is one of the most knowledgeable and trusted executives in our industry.”

Since joining Cushman & Wakefield’s legacy Indianapolis firm in 1997, Mr. Michel’s responsibilities have expanded to include local, regional and national leadership roles, including directing the firm’s national Distressed Assets Services group and managing a number of strategic client accounts.

“Expanding Asset Services is essential to our growth plans, and I couldn’t have a better partner in Tim,” Mr. Mobley said. “His leadership and experience better position us to expand client relationships and services not only in the East Region but across our platform.”
