Renowned Industry Veteran Patrick Murphy Joins CW New York Office Brokerage as EVP

A professional with more than 30 years of experience, Mr. Murphy has served in executive leadership positions and represented multinational corporations and landlords on significant assignments  

NEW YORK - Cushman & Wakefield, a global leader in commercial real estate services, announced today that Patrick Murphy has joined the firm’s New York City brokerage group as an Executive Vice Chairman.

Mr. Murphy, who joins the firm from CBRE, is a 36 year industry veteran with a successful track record of representing multinational corporations and landlords on a number of significant assignments in the New York Tri-State region, as well as globally. From 1998 to 2008 he served Executive Managing Director of the New York Tri-State Suburban Markets where he oversaw six of CBRE’s suburban offices in New Jersey, Connecticut, Westchester and Long Island.

Mr. Murphy represents both tenants and landlords and has completed millions of square feet of transactions. His clients include UBS Financial Services, Odyssey Reinsurance, Time Warner, Bleacher Report, Société Générale and LeFrak.

Mr. Murphy was the Executive sponsor of the African American Network Group at CBRE and is a member of REBNY and Corenet Global.  He is a graduate of Hamilton College in Clinton, New York
