Cushman & Wakefield Announces New Leadership for Valuation & Advisory Commercial Property Team
New York, NY – Industry veterans John Katinos, MAI and Mike Papagianopoulos, MAI, have been appointed to lead Cushman & Wakefield’s Valuation & Advisory commercial property team in New York City, the firm announced today.
Katinos, a 28-year veteran of the firm, and Papagianopoulos, who has spent the past 17 years with Cushman & Wakefield, have extensive experience analyzing and valuing scores of different property types throughout Manhattan and New York’s surrounding boroughs.

During the past 10 years, Katinos and Papagianopoulos, along with their respective teams, have focused primarily on office and retail assets, appraising some of the most iconic, existing, and newly developed commercial properties in New York City.

Katinos is the past President and a current Board Member of the Metropolitan NY Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. He holds a Master of Science in Real Estate from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Drexel University. Papagianopoulos obtained his Master of Business Administration from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College and his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from American College of Thessalonica. Both are Designated Members of the Appraisal Institute and are certified general real estate appraisers in the state of New York.
