Four Cushman & Wakefield Leaders Honored as Real Estate Forum Women of Influence

Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Real Estate Forum has selected Marla Maloney, President, Asset Services, Americas; Carolyn Sidor, Managing Principal, New England; Joanne Podell, Executive Vice Chairman, Retail Leasing; and Jennifer Miles, Transformation & Transition Manager, Global Occupier Services, as 2018 Women of Influence. This year marks the 25th anniversary of Real Estate Forum’s Women of Influence list, recognizing 50 women who have significantly impacted commercial real estate with their exceptional transaction volume, strong impact on their company’s overall success or contributions to the industry at large.

Maloney was selected for the second straight year, being named to the Women of Influence Hall of Fame. Podell is a repeat selection, and this is the first recognition for both Sidor and Miles.

As President of Asset Services, Americas, Maloney focuses on client care, consistent improvement to the Asset Services operating platform, best-in-class service delivery and steady growth for the more than 700 million-square-foot portfolio across the U.S. and Canada. Under her leadership, the U.S. Asset Services platform has grown substantially through several acquisitions of property management firms and high-profile wins, as well as the addition of industry-leading talent.

Sidor is the Managing Principal of Cushman & Wakefield’s New England offices and has overall responsibility for all lines of business delivered in Boston, Hartford/New Haven and Manchester, NH including revenue profitability and growth. She leads a team of more than 180 professionals who develop creative and holistic real estate solutions for the firm’s investor and occupier clients across the region.

With 25 years of commercial real estate experience, Podell is a three-time recipient of the prestigious Real Estate Board of New York Deal of the Year Award. One of the most respected retail brokers in New York City, Podell was

declared Cushman & Wakefield’s 2016 global top broker and the firm’s overall top retail broker in the United States for both 2014 and 2015.

As Transformation & Transition Manager for Cushman & Wakefield’s GOS platform, Miles works with facility management, transaction management, project management, lease administration, IT and human resources leads to integrate new client accounts. Being adept at influencing and advising senior executives, Jennifer has led multiple successful client transitions and transformations. Her strong sourcing, vendor management and process improvement experience is complemented by eight years of decorated military service and five years of management consulting
