Industry-leading team drives value, minimizes risk for both occupier and investor clients
CHICAGO, IL — Cushman & Wakefield (NYSE: CWK) announced today that veteran commercial real estate industry leader Brian Ungles has been appointed to lead the firm’s Project & Development Services group in the Americas.
“The role of our Project & Development Services team has expanded far beyond just managing the scope, schedule and budget of a construction project,” said Cushman & Wakefield’s Americas CEO, Shawn P. Mobley. “Today, we provide a full suite of value-add services including advising on the space and design choices that have a critical impact on employee experience and productivity. Brian is the right leader to ensure that our clients are experiencing the full breadth and depth of our expertise in this area.”
Cushman & Wakefield’s 850+ Project & Development Services professionals in the Americas focus on bringing organizations’ unique cultures to life by managing the full delivery of projects --- from business and capital planning, to site selection, to occupancy and beyond --- working to minimize risk and drive value throughout the entire process. The team completed more than 2,400 projects valued at more than $6 billion across the Americas in 2018.
“Our Project & Development Services team is one of the strongest in the industry,” Ungles said. “I look forward to working with all of them — and with our regional leadership — as we continue to grow and reaffirm our commitment to delivering outstanding results for our clients.”
Ungles’ 20-year career at Cushman & Wakefield includes broad and deep experience serving both investor and occupier clients. Most recently, he served as leader of the firm’s St. Louis office where he oversaw a 25 million-square-foot portfolio of managed properties and some three dozen brokerage and project management professionals. Before that, he was a senior account manager within the firm’s Global Occupier Services group where he led numerous multi-service accounts for some of the company’s largest clients.
Ungles, who earned both his bachelor’s degree and MBA from the University of Missouri-Columbia, is a member of the board of directors for the United Way of Greater St. Louis, where he resides with his family.
