Profile

Jon Carpenter is responsible for the origination and execution of Investment Sales and Capital Markets transactions on behalf of the firm’s expanding client base in the Mid-Atlantic region. Jon has worked extensively in the Baltimore and Washington, DC, markets, and has been involved in capital markets transactions with a total value in excess of $3.5 billion during his 19-year career in commercial real estate including over $1.8 billion in transactions arranged since 2008.

Prior to Cushman & Wakefieild, Jon served as Director of Investments for Corporate Office Properties Trust (COPT). He was involved in the purchase and sale of more than $1.6 billion of office, industrial and retail real estate during his six-year tenure with the publicly traded REIT. During this time, he worked in major markets across the United States, including Baltimore, MD, Washington, DC, Denver, CO, San Antonio, TX, Northern and Central New Jersey, and Central and Eastern Pennsylvania.

Prior to COPT, Jon was an integral part of the Trammell Crow Co. Washington, DC Investment Sales team, where he underwrote and assisted in successfully marketing approximately $600 million of office, industrial and retail properties in the Mid-Atlantic region.
